IMMA and ACEM organised a joint Spring Congress in Berlin, Germany, and organised the first world motorcycle industry conference, titled “The Ride to the Future – the Global Motorcycle Industries’ Contribution to Sustainable Mobility”.

The Institute of Road Traffic Education (IRTE) organized, in collaboration with the Road Safety Forum (WP.1) under United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) the second Conference on Powered Two Wheelers (PTW) Safety, with a special focus on South East Asia.
IMMA provided a keynote presentation on PTWs safety and mobility.
The 2018 Meeting of the Federation of Asian Motorcycle Industries hosted by MDPPA comprised the 14th Intellectual Property Rights Symposium and the 19th Road Safety Symposium.
IMMA, ACEM, and the Connected Motorcycle Consortium (CMC) organised ‘Sharing the Road for Safer Motorcycling’ ITF Open Stage Café session during the 2018 edition “Transport Safety and Security" of the International Transport Forum Summit in Leipzig, Germany.
